What is your favorite part of gameday?
An integral part of gameday is the Student Union performance; performing alongside close friends and hyping ourselves up for the night ahead is a wonderful feeling. Playing the ET theme near the end always gets me a little emotional too!
What do you like about Marching Knights?
Something I admire about the Marching Knights is our ability to support each other and to support the UCF campus at large. I’ve made fantastic friends throughout my time in the program, and it made my first year on campus feel like I’d been there for a long time. Being a Marching Knight is being proud of our friendships, our music, and our university!
What are you most excited about for this season?
This season, I’m thrilled to conduct the band, to work with my fellow drum majors, and to perform for my family, my friends, and the university as a whole. I am also very excited for us to premier the new uniforms!
Describe a favorite hobby of yours.
In my free time, I love to watch movies, play basketball with my roommates, and play video games! Way back in March 2020, I made a goal to watch a movie every day for as long as I could and log them almost like a journal; although I’ve certainly broken the promise of a daily movie since then, I’ve logged about 700 so far!
