Justin Gittle is a graduate assistant for UCF Bands where he assists with the marching band, basketball bands, and all administrative aspects of the band program. Recently, Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Kansas State University, where he studied with Dr. Jackie Kerstetter, Dr. Phil Payne, and Dr. Frank Tracz.

While at Kansas State, Justin served as the principal horn player for several ensembles, including the wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, and chamber ensembles. During his time in each of these ensembles, Justin performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and the American Bandmasters Association conference in Colorado. In addition, Justin served as a drum major for the Kansas State University Marching Band, where he performed at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee.

Justin is a member of Kappa Kappa Psi national band fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Kansas Music Educators Association, Kansas Bandmasters Association, and the National Association for Music Education.
