What is your favorite part of gameday?

What I love about gameday the most is everything we do from warming up at the student union to pregame show. It’s really awesome to see fans show their support by watching us warm up at student union, especially when the Trumpets circle up around the Pegasus seal and play “Nice Box”. Doing our parade march to the football stadium is fun too because we get to march past a bunch of students and parents cheering us on as we enter the bounce house.

What do you like about Marching Knights?

The Marching Knights gave me a great way to get acclimated to UCF when I transferred here in 2022. Not only did I learn how to navigate our campus and all of our school and campus traditions, but the Marching Knights quickly became my fist community here at UCF. Throughout my time in the Marching Knights so far I’ve made long lasting friendships, had the opportunity to get involved in the campus community, and have had the ability to represent the university in different areas of campus and the State.

What are you most excited about for this season?

I’m really excited to march our second season as a Big XII band! We’re going to learn seven shows this season and we’ll be playing really awesome music to go along with it. In addition, the Big XII is becoming a super competitive power 5 conference, and will all the new transfers our team is getting on top of our number 1 recruiting class, I’m excited to see our Knights match up against the other teams and our student section bring the noise in the bounce house.

Describe a favorite hobby of yours.

There’s many things I love to do when I’m not playing my instrument. On Friday’s I go to memory mall and play Ultimate Frisbee with my friends. When I want to relax, I enjoy watching football and baseball, playing video games, or dancing Salsa.
