What is your favorite Marching Knights memory?
My favorite Marching Knights memory is the mellophone section unity tradition we started. Every year for band camp, the mellophones have a get together where we create “jerseys” for all of us to wear on section unity day for band camp. This is one of my favorite memories because I get to know the new members better and catch up with friends after summer break!
What is your favorite part of gameday?
My favorite part of game day is warming up before March to Victory because we get to play some stands tunes and show music for a small audience before going to the stadium. This is also where as a section, and the band as a whole, hype each other up for the game and our performance.
What is your favorite stands tune and why?
My favorite stands tunes are Da Butt and Fireball because I feel like the entirety of the band gets excited to play these tunes and you can hear it in our playing. Also, the movements are super fun in these tunes!
