What is your favorite Marching Knights memory?
My favorite memory from my time with the Marching Knights was our 2023 exhibition performance for Bands of America. Performing Malaga at Camping World Stadium was an unforgettable experience. The energy in the stadium was incredible, and hearing the support and excitement from thousands of high school students from across Florida created an atmosphere unlike anything I had ever experienced.
What is your favorite part of gameday?
My favorite part of game day is the drumline warmup lot before concert arcs at the student union. A lot of alumni from recent graduating classes come back to support us, and getting the chance to catch up with them and hear what they’ve been up to always makes the experience even more special. The energy, traditions, and sense of community during those moments are something I’ll always appreciate.
What is your favorite stands tune and why?
My favorite stands tune is Get Down On It. It’s one of the few songs we play that I actually have on my car playlist, and it’s impossible not to feel good whenever it comes on. Whether we’re playing it in the stands or I’m listening to it on my own, it always brings great energy and puts me in a good mood.
