Erin Parke

Erin Parke began her colorguard career in 2008 in Tampa, Florida. Her performance resume includes the UCF Starlet Knights Colorguard, the Boston Crusaders Colorguard, Pegasus Open and Pegasus World. Erin has worked at various programs teaching equipment and movement technique throughout Central Florida and North Texas, most notably at Bloomingdale High School and McKinney High School. She was most recently the director of the highly competitive winter guard Pegasus A, a Winter Guard International finalist group. Erin is currently serving as the Education Director for Orlando Visual Performing Arts Foundation, an organization that aims to serve youth and young adults in Orlando’s marching arts community. Outside of the marching arts world, Erin has been practicing aerial arts such as lyra, rope, and silks.

Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Central Florida and a Masters in Arts in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma. Making a career out of both formal and informal education, she holds teaching certifications in areas such as social studies, special education, core subjects EC-6, and English as a second language. Outside of her professional career, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, visiting museums, and going to the beach.
