What is your favorite Marching Knights memory?
One of the football games got rain delayed, so the entire ensemble stayed in the Nicholson Fieldhouse for around 2 hours. Bryant had the drumline compete in different games and races, like human battleship. At one point, all the cymbals were laying down with our heads on each other’s legs in a circle.
What is your favorite part of gameday?
My favorite part of gameday is after the drumline warmup. We set up our cymbals around the base of a tree outside of the Student Union and have some free time before full ensemble, so many of us watch the trumpets do their warmup inside.
What is your favorite stands tune and why?
Big Ballin’ is my favorite stands tune because of how much energy everyone puts into it. It is fun to perform and fun to watch.
