What is your favorite part of gameday?
Being in the stands with such a large band is a crazy feeling. Everyone is into the game and having a great time. Then when we get to playing, especially songs like “Swag Surfing” and “Big Ballin”, it just gets so hype playing with everyone.
What do you like about Marching Knights?
The closeness of the sousaphone section is something that you cant find anywhere else. Everyone is so caring, friendly, and ready to get to work. Being around this awesome group of people really makes everything more memorable. The connections I have made in MKs are some of the coolest people I know.
What are you most excited about for this season?
This next season is packed with home games, so being able to show out, entertain, and represent the school so often is going to be a blast. The football team is on track to do some great things this season so going to so many games to hype up the crowd will make gamedays so much more exciting.
Describe a favorite hobby of yours.
I follow motorsports, specifically F1, and baseball a lot. I grew up watching the Cubs on TV and have been to Wrigley a few times. Back in 2016 my parents let me stay up till 1am to watch the Cubs win the World Series. I have been going to the Rolex 24 hour race for the past 5 years which is how I was introduced to IMSA and F1 racing. When I was in Venice last year I got to watch the Italian Grand Prix live in a sports bar with a ton of European F1 fans.
